SixteenSouth was formed in 2007 by Colin Williams and Ian McDonald.

Colin's background is in graphics and design and as such, is involved in the development of formats. He is also the owner and MD of Inferno - Northern Ireland’s leading (and largest) creative television post and production company specialising in animated and live action broadcast graphics, commercials and corporate dvd.

Ian thrives on bizarre and surreal information and has extensive knowledge of local and national broadcasters and commissioners. He is also an acclaimed international author, with his latest book, Brasyl selling well all over the world.

Vicky has spent 18 years at BBC HQ in White City, London where she was Production Executive for News and Current Affairs, responsible for a wide variety of output for all BBC channels including big events, documentary series such as ‘Blair – The Inside Story’ and Panorama as well as fast-turnaround programmes.

Laura is part of our development team and is one of only 13 people chosen from across the UK to take part in Channel 4's RDP programme (Researcher Development Programme) where she meets C4's commissioning editors once a month for training and workshops.
