Sesame Tree is our
new concept for Sesame Street Northern Ireland.
Aimed at 3-6 year olds, Sesame Tree introduces a
new family of muppets to the Sesame family that
live inside a magical question tree. Strong focus
on learning and based heavily on Sesame values, it
aims to teach generation zero - the first
generation born in Northern ireland outside of 'The
troubles' - life values such as respect for each
other and the environment. Live action films look
at life in Northern Ireland through the eyes of a
3-6 year old. The 15 minute programme also features
international films and classic
Sesame archive clips of all the
old favourites -
Bert & Ernie, Grover
and Cookie Monster.
